Clinical Studies

Serrapeptase clinical studies talk about the benefits of this powerful enzyme in the human body. This silk worm enzyme is also called serratiopeptidase, which is a component of a proteolytic enzyme regularly used in Europe and Japan in clinical therapies. Studies have shown that this component decreases the sensation of pain, reduces swelling or inflammation, and reduces the risk of blood clots in the body.

Other reviews suggest this enzyme is used to treat lung conditions, especially chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This means it attacks the mucus in the airways and the lungs. It also aids people dealing with arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Serrapeptase Clinical Studies Support the Enzyme’s Health Benefits

Research has shown that Serrapeptase has countless benefits. It has helped treat dental pain and swelling, whenever teeth have to be extracted. Almost all of the studies have shown that swelling and pain has gone down when it was used.

One of the main reasons why people like Serrapeptase is due to its anti-inflammatory effects. It has components that counteract swelling, which is why it’s often used to treat these medical conditions:

Silkworms have the answer

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Similar health issues

“I have fibrosis of the lungs due to a bird allergy of years ago. I do feel it has helped me a lot. I’ve taken it for almost a year and am pleased with easier breathing. It also is said to help with inflammation, and while I have not had joint problems, none have developed, so perhaps this is a good preventative.”

Fights Different Diseases

There are lots of diseases that people deal with on a daily basis, so when they hear about a product that can help them, they jump at the opportunity. This is the case with Serrapeptase. In several Serrapeptase clinical studies, when the enzyme was given for four weeks at 30 mgs a day for COPD, the frequency and thickness of coughing went down. The amount of phlegm produced was also reduced. The studies showed how the enzyme cleared mucus away from the airways and lungs.

On a completely different scale, Serrapeptase clinical studies also showed that the enzyme helped with carpal tunnel syndrome. Within six weeks, over 65 percent of test subjects showed major improvement. Even better, there were no side effects reported.

“I heard about others having success with Serrapeptase. There was almost immediate relief! I follow the alkaline diet and take Serrapeptase three times daily on an empty stomach. Now I seldom have the bladder pain and no more urgency to void every 30 minutes…Now, I can sleep at night and not rush to a bathroom every time I go shopping.”

Deal With Throat, Nose, and Ear Issues

There were several Serrapeptase clinical studies that showed how 193 subjects struggling with chronic or acute nose, ear, or throat issues benefited from the supplement. Some of them saw reduced symptoms in three to four days.

Another aspect Serrapeptase might help with is the ability to break down tissues and protein in the body. However, more studies need to be done to prove whether or not the proteolytic enzymes are effective.
